Datea - Todos somos dateros

An open source crowdsourcing platform to activate and channel community engagements.

Datea is a crowdsourcing platform to activate and channel community engagements. Local governments, NGOs, civic organizations and individuals can use it to map information contributed by citizens, and visualize it on maps and charts. It then can be used to support decision-making processes or to highlight problems and solutions to a certain topic on a map.

Datea was born as an alternative way of channeling the user's opinions about Lima new bus transport system, called "Metropolitano". The deployment of the platform was part of a campaign, that included actions on public space, appearances in local media, a newspaper with information provided by users and experts and was handed out at the buses, alliances with civic organizations and a reach out effort to the public institution in charge of the system.

Recently we are also providing android and iphone apps.
